n8n is an automation tool you can host yourself. Installed on your server, you don’t pay a per-task subscription like with online automation services: just the server, and your data stays with you.

Frequently asked questions

Is n8n really free?

The self-hosted version of n8n (Community Edition) is free for automating your own business. You pay for the server that runs it, and for any external services you connect to it, such as an artificial intelligence service.

How is it different from online automation services?

Online automation services are billed by the number of tasks. The more you automate, the higher the bill. With n8n on your server, the cost stays fixed and your data does not go through a third-party service.

Where is my data stored?

On your server, in your name. Access is protected, the connection is encrypted with HTTPS and the configuration is backed up.

What happens if a workflow breaks?

With the monthly care plan, I monitor failed executions. I fix the problem and explain what happened and what was done. Without a care plan, I can step in on quote.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. I build the workflow, test it with you and show you how to keep an eye on it. You simply tell me which task you no longer want to do by hand.
